For DRUFC to achieve the next stage of its development, National League status, and to ensure the successful implementation of an Academy and our Youth Development Plan, we need all the funds we can raise.

Our commercial package has been structured to business and individuals alike. We have advertising, sponsorship and other fundraising opportunities to suit any budget. There are also *deferred payment* options on many of the funding categories.

Sponsorship funds are directed primarily to:

• The improvement of each of our 15 teams, at all age groups.
• The development of rugby throughout our community, at all age groups.
• Other club-based enhancements and improvements.

Perimeter & Pitchside Advertising

Pitch side perimeter advertising at sporting stadiums is firmly established as one of highest profile cost effective mediums available to promote your companies products or services. Here at Dunstablians Rugby Club, perhaps unlike other sporting arenas which are only in use once every two weeks during their respective seasons, our 4 pitches are in constant use from July to April for our League and Cup matches as well training sessions for our senior, youth and colt squads. In addition, 3 sides of our main pitch perimeter signage is highly visible from the Bedford Road (A5120) and the junction of the turn to Thorn, hence enabling your promotional message to be seen by many hundreds of passing motorists every day.

Therefore your regional viewing audience is vast and varied, both in age and demographics, giving your message the best opportunity to be seen and thereby your product or service promoted to our fans, their family’s and friends, who traditionally support, the clubs partners and sponsors.

Youth Development

Sponsored by: Kitchens 2 Go, Diamond Sports, Panther Platform Rentals and Sportsmatch

Commencing in the 2005/06 season, DRUFC are making contact with every school in the area to boost the awareness and play of Rugby Union. This will involve regular coaching of pupils and organising inter-school tournaments. This is a major effort to encourage the growth of the great game and will require the support of 3 or 4 sponsors.

Your Company Logo will appear on the Coaching Staff kit, the equipment used and your support will be acknowledged in the match-day programme. In addition, you will receive 4 FREE Season Tickets for Bidwell Park and 2 International tickets for each game played at Twickenham for the 6 Nations Tournament in 2006.

Player Sponsorship

By sponsoring a Dunstablians senior player you are effectively supporting the payment of their membership fees, travelling expenses, plus playing and training kit. Your support both to the player and the club then helps attract further professionally minded players to Dunstablians which then supports our plans and progress on the field of play.

In recognition of your sponsorship, your name or company details will be accredited next to your chosen player’s details in our match day programme, as well as on the clubs website.

In addition you will receive an invitation to attend our end of season Players Award Dinner, plus an autographed picture of your player with a personal letter of thanks for your support throughout the season.

The complete package of features and benefits will include:

• Your own or company name in the match day programme.
• Accreditation of your sponsorship on the Dunstablians website
• Invitation from your player to attend the clubs end of season Players Award Dinner
• Autographed photograph together with a personal letter of thanks from your player for your support

Match-day Sponsorship

Corporate hospitality and entertainment at sporting events has become established as one of the key marketing and business promotional tools, used by companies worldwide. The opportunity to spend quality time away from the office, with your customers, or clients in a relaxed social environment, eagerly anticipating the start, of an exciting game and in the case of Dunstablians, Rugby Union, is the proven way to build your business relationships.

Based on a minimum of 10 guests your day will consist of:

Based on it’s flexibility to provide a combination of stadium advertising, match day corporate membership for 4 guests, a guaranteed match sponsorship for 10 guests, plus your company name and logo listed on our website denoting your status as a corporate member and commercial partner of Dunstablians RUFC, it represents a high profile advertising and corporate hospitality programme, offering tremendous value for money.

Your full list of Commercial Membership benefits are as follows:

• Four corporate memberships, that include 4 tickets for all 1st Team home fixtures, 10% discount on all of your bar and club shop purchases, plus free business hire of our Clubhouse facilities on up to 6 occasions, during your membership year.

Donations

Sometimes individuals or organisations would prefer to donate funds for general or specific use rather than a commercial advertising or sponsorship option. By making a one-off or regular donation enables DRUFC to plan ahead.

..you can donate to The General Development Fund and allow the Club Officers to decide the best use for the money that you donate.

Payment Options

The Club has certain costs to meet with almost all sponsorship and advertising options but we fully understand the cash flow needs of our sponsors and supporters. Without wishing to offend or presume, the following payment options are available if required.

Payment in one instalment = Deduct 5% discount

or pay by

Standing Order in instalments on the 1st of

August - 50%
November - 25%
February - 25%

Lucky Numbers

Lucky Numbers is a draw that produces winnings of £100's every week. The amount of the prize depends on the weekly participation in your local pub, workplace or group of individuals but will usually exceed £200.

For £1 per entry, you choose two numbers between 1 and 30. Each week, the draw is made in one of the participating establishments, (normally a pub), where two numbers are drawn. If your two numbers get drawn, you win. If there is more than one winner, the prize money is shared. Fifty percent (50%) of the prize money goes to DRUFC with the balance going to the weekly prize and the Snowball pot.

There is also one extra ball called The Snowball and if it is drawn, a further number is drawn to give the two winning numbers. In this case, the winner(s) share the Snowball Prize Fund in addition to the normal winnings.

All Lucky Number entry forms are collected on a Thursday afternoon/evening, immediately prior to the draw taking place. The last participating drinking establishment varies from week to week on a rotational basis, but that is where the draw takes place. All participants are advised of the draw numbers and paid out, the following day.
