The primary Club event of the season, where we have a chance show our appreciation to our 1st – 2nd – 3rd – 4th and Colt squads. Following on from our last 1st Team league game against Broadstreet, where we will then present the squads and the players of the season with their achievement awards and one or two surprises in true Dunstablians tradition.

We are privileged to be able to announce the Heavyweight Boxing living legend Sir Henry Cooper will be our principal celebrity guest on Thursday 4th June for our next Sporting Dinner. This very special evening will also be supported by comedian and host for the evening Adger Brown, brought back by overwhelming demand following his appearance at our dinner with Gareth Chilcott back in November last year. Full details will be announced very shortly, but the evening will include a three course silver served dinner with wine and of course some wonderful stories and humour from Henry as well more laughs than anyone is entitled to handle in one night from Adger. Another DRUFC Classic with a band that needs no introduction, Mr Geno Washington and his Ram Jam Band. A fabulous high energy soul night, with of course the Jazz & Funk Room. Tickets at £17.00

Following a somewhat difficult start in its rugby life in 1927 with only three seasons being completed, the Dunstablians Rugby Union Club was reformed in 1948, playing at French’s Avenue, moving through Skimpot Lane and Bull Pond Lane, finally arriving at Bidwell Park in 1985, where this summer on the 14th June we will be celebrating our 60th Anniversary. This glittering black tie event will be our social event of the year, with music and entertainment, a suburb silver meal and the opportunity to relive 60 years of our great club.
