1. The Club shall be known as the DRUFC ‘200’ Club.
2. The objective is to raise funds to support Dunstablians Rugby Union Football Club.
3. The Club shall initially be limited to 200 members. The Management Committee retain the authority to change the number of members should the need arise. Any change will be published on the DRUFC website.
4. The minimum stake of £5 per month entitles members to five numbers, which shall be entered into all monthly draws for so long as the monthly payment is received.
5. A member may hold an unlimited amount of 5 number blocks each costing £5 per month. Entry will be effective from the month the first payment is received by the Club.
6. Number shall be allocated by the Lotteries Secretary and members shall be informed of the numbers allocated and given a copy of these Rules. The member’s number is to be quoted on any correspondence with the Lotteries Secretary.
7. The club shall be open to all persons over 18 years old.
8. Members of the Club need not be members of the DRUFC.
9. Payments may be made by monthly standing order or over the bar to Sally Goddard. Members buying numbers using cash payments cannot be guaranteed the same numbers every month.
10. 50% of the income taken each month shall be paid out as prizes divided as follows:
1st prize 25%
2nd prize 15%
3rd prize 10%
The balance, less expenses agreed by the DRUFC Treasurer, will be paid to DRUFC.
11. The draw will take place on the final Saturday of every month. Entry into a monthly draw will close at midnight on the final Friday of every month, entries received after the deadline will be entered into the following months draw.
12. All draws shall be supervised by the Lotteries Secretary or a DRUFC Management Committee Member and drawn by a randomly selected member of DRUFC.
13. The Club shall be administered by the Lotteries Secretary and his deputy duly appointed by the DRUFC Committee.
14. The winners and prizes shall be displayed in the DRUFC Clubhouse and on the website.
15. Winners shall be notified by the Lotteries Secretary. In the event that a prize cheque is not cashed within 6 months of the date of issue then the prize amount will be donated to DRUFC.
16. The Club shall be registered with South Beds District council and the Lotteries Secretary shall be responsible for lodging the necessary returns with the Council.
17. The Lotteries Secretary shall keep a record of all 200 club members’ names, addresses, telephone numbers and e-mail addresses.
18. Any matters not covered by these rules shall be decided by the Management Committee.
